ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release is a Martial Arts-based discipline, created in NGATEA New Zealand, by Dale W. Speedy (6th dan Blackbelt Kiaido-Ryu) and Kym Summers.
It is a practical study in what we call SKELETAL SENSORY SHOCK.

Dale Speedy: The Founder of ConTact C.A.R.E
Dale Speedy is a man of many talents, and his experiences in farming, martial arts, Reiki and Ortho-Bionomy have all contributed to the development of his innovative approach to healthcare. Based on his life experiences and his desire to be a useful person, Dale founded ConTact C.A.R.E, a simple, sensible, self-evident and safe method of releasing surprise impact pressure from bone.
Dale’s background in farming gave him a practical ‘do it yourself’ attitude and a stockman’s eye for spotting the abnormal amidst the normal. His martial arts training, particularly in Judo and Kiaido-Ryu Karate, taught him about the body’s instinctive self-defence system and how it can be manipulated to either harm or heal. His experience in Reiki gave him an understanding of a higher power of innate goodness, while his training in Ortho-Bionomy gave him an awareness of the inter-connectedness of all things and the power of comfort.
In 2004, Dale went through a period of disillusionment with all his previous training. He realized that there was still something missing, and he dropped everything to start fresh. Out of the confusion emerged a single method so simple that it has been in common usage since the beginning of time. Based on natural reactions, self-preservation, bio-mechanics and stimulation, Dale found the answer to releasing surprise impact pressure from bone.
This work, Bio-mechanical Impactology, Dale calls ConTact C.A.R.E, and it was made available to the public in 2006. It is a do-able, teachable skill that just works. Wanting to remove any chance of “mind over matter,” Dale worked his theory on cows, horses, and dogs for their purely reactive natures, then watched as sustained injuries unraveled and resolved.
Today, ConTact C.A.R.E Bio-mechanical Impactology is a well-established healthcare approach that is used all over the world. Dale’s innovative approach to healthcare has changed lives and continues to do so.
